Getting Involved!

In a nutshell what motivates us both is the desire to give something back to the community.

Too many people only take, we all should try and give a little back to our fellow men

Working with our community.

We are both Keynsham Town Councillors  Keith was first elected in 1999, he was also a Bath & NE Somerset Councillor 2003 to 2007 and has 10 years as a governor at various local schools.

Christine was elected to the town council in 2007 both believe in hands on work in the community as well as supporting good measures in council.

Above is a picture of Keynsham Music Festival which Keith has strongly supported for many years and has worked at in various roles for 7 out of the last 8 years.

Campaign to Protect Rural England - CPRE

According to Keith the only effective planning pressure group in the UK he has been actively invloved for several years.

He has a lifelong interest in architecture and planning.

Keith and Christine are both member of CPRE

Keith and Christine are active Liberal Democrats.

Keith Joined the party because he believed that the centralised governement was inheritantly ineficient and tended to be inhuman.  Governemnt should be as close to the people as possible and individuals should be left with the maximum ammount of liberty possible.

At the same time he belivies tha some people need more help than others to reach their full potential.

Christine first joined the party in support of Keith but embraced the Liberal democrats "green" agenda with enthusiasm
